Your giving helps in tangible ways...

1. Online – the surest and simplest way to give consistently is through the online giving link on our homepage. You can setup recurring or one-time payments from your bank account or credit card.
Benefit of Giving Online:
Simple Instructions:
Create an Account: You will create an account using the Online Giving link below with your personal contact information, a username and a password. If you have already created an account, just login to your account.
Schedule: You can schedule a one-time gift or a recurring gift. Gift schedules can be edited or deleted after the initial set-up.
View Giving Record: Even if you choose not to give online, you may create a personal login and password if you'd like to view your giving record for the current and prior calendar years. This feature will become available to you approximately 5-7 business days after you have created your online account. This timeframe allows us to verify that your login is privately and securely linked to your giving record.
2. Cash or Check - Some prefer the physical act of placing their gift in the offering basket during a worship service. You can split a check between the general fund and building fund by noting it on the memo line. Cash can be placed in envelopes available above the offering boxes in the Auditorium. If you miss the offering time during the service, you may place your gift in the drop boxes located in the Auditorium, mail it to WHC, or bring it by the office during the week.
3. Direct pay from your bank - Many banks and credit unions offer a free online bill payment service. Log onto your bank’s website and set up WHC as a regular payment. A check will automatically be mailed to the church and once received, will be credited to your contribution statement.
4. Stock and Mutual Funds - Donating stocks and mutual funds, not the proceeds from their sale, provides an additional tax savings by avoiding capital gains taxes and allowing a deduction for the full value of the fund on the date of transfer.
5. Gifts of Real Estate - A residence, rental home, vacation home or raw land may offer a significant tax advantage to you. If this asset has appreciated in value through the years, giving the asset to the church will possibly reduce your tax obligation.
6. Estate Planning - is a wise option for the stewardship of God’s recourses. Sound estate planning can save a substantial amount of tax obligation, allow you to direct your estate to the ministry that matters most to you, and provides resources to further God’s call for our mission.
Contact the church for more information about estate planning.
Did you know that if 1200 families were to increase their giving by $15 a week, our ability to do ministry would increase by nearly 1 million dollars a year! Imagine how this could impact our community, church and the world. All we would ask you to do is to pray and consider the $15 generosity challenge. If you are already struggling financially or in debt, we would ask you to give only what you can and not to increase your debt or financial struggles as you give to the church.
