Who: 6th-12th grade students in the Heights Community

What: A “Servant Leadership Experience” to Colorado Springs, CO – basically, a mission trip combined with an amazing youth leadership conference. We’ll serve in local neighborhoods as well as with Compassion International at their international headquarters.

Where: Colorado Springs, CO (We’ll be staying at a church)

When: June 26th-July 3rd 2012

Cost: $435. Deposit of $100 is due February 5th. Plenty of fundraising and scholarship opportunities are available, so please ask the youth pastor/director at your campus.

About the Trip:
A Servant Leadership Experience (SLE) provides training and service opportunities to help junior and senior high students live out the example of being a servant leader for Christ. Students who participate in SLE partner with existing service programs to help others in need while learning in a top-notch conference setting about how to be a servant leader following Jesus’ example, who “came not to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:28).
