Drama Night: On Wednesday, July 11th, we’ll head up to Brigham City to hang out with youth ministries from other churches and enjoy an AMAZING drama group, New Life Drama Company. Look for registration info in June!
Servant Leadership Experience to Colorado Springs, CO: June 26th-July 3rd
This summer trip will be unlike any that we’ve taken before. We’ll travel to Colorado Springs to serve and to learn how to lead as a follower of Jesus. Servant Leadership Experience provides training and service opportunities to help junior and senior high students live out the example of being a servant leader for Christ. We partner with existing service programs to help others in need while learning in a top-notch conference setting about how to be a servant leader. Registration is open and ends February 5th. Weekly Events
GO Groups: This summer, we’ll have two 6-week GO Groups, one for guys and one for girls. Information will be out soon. For more information, call Angie at Washington Heights at (801) 479-7030.
Sunday Mornings @ 10:30am: Our large group gather is each Sunday at 10:30am. We get together for food, friends, teaching, and worship about twice a month. NOTE: during construction (Estimated completion: Fall 2012) we will meet in room 604 across the hall from the church offices.
Wednesdays at the Park Starting June 13th, well hang out at Riverdale Park (4300 South Parker Drive in Riverdale) on Wednesdays 6:30pm-8:00pm. We’ll play different games every week and have tons of fun. Note: Wednesdays at the Park will happen on June 13th and 20th, July 18th and 25th, and August 1st, 8th, and 15th.
Friday Disc Golf: Starting June 15th, disc golfers (veterans AND first-timers) can join us at Riverdale’s disc golf course for a couple of hours of disc golf. Just bring your sunscreen and some discs! Let Benjer know if you need to borrow one.
