    Awakening: Bold Faith/Broken World

    We all know through first-hand experience how broken and difficult this world can be.  How do we build a faith that is alive, growing, and making an impact in the world around us?  We will explore the experiences of people who faced that same situation and discover how we can awaken faith for our day.

    Juicy Fruit beginning Sunday, February 12

    This sermon series will unpack the list of the fruit of the Holy Spirit found in Galatians 5:22-23.  Our faith in God is not just an internal matter of the heart and mind.  Faith is also meant to be lived out in real life.  The fruit of the Spirit are the visible examples of our faith.  We will examine what each fruit looks like and pursue practical ways that we cooperate with God in His desire to grow these traits in us.  In a world that is often turned off to spiritual rhetoric, the juicy fruit of the Holy Spirit can provide a flavor not always found in our day.

    Getting Started

    If you are interested in learning more about The Heights Community or would like to make membership formal at a Heights Community Campus you should join us for Getting Started.  Sessions begin the first Sunday of each  month at 11:45 am in Room 602 and run for four consecutive Sundays.  You will meet new people, enjoy an awesome lunch, and get connected at The Heights Community.  Registration is requested.  Click here to register for the next session which begins on Sunday, February 5 or contact jami.s@theheighstcommunity.org.

    Child Dedication Class

    The next Child Dedication Class will be held on Sunday, February 5 at Noon am in Room 509.  Attendance at this class is required for parents who would like to participate in the Child Dedication Service on Sunday, February 19.  Click here to register or contact kelli.b@theheightscommunity.org.

    “Courageous” Movie Night

    Join us for the movie Courageous (on the really big, huge screen!)  on Friday, February 24 at 7 pm in the Auditorium.  The Brew will be open and light refreshments will be available for purchase.  Tickets are $1 each and will be available in The Hub on Sundays beginning in February.

    Annual Meeting and Feast

    All campuses of  The Heights Community are invited to join us in The Hub on Sunday, February 26 after the noon service (approximately 1 pm) for an amazing potluck feast followed by the Annual Church Meeting at 2 pm in The Hub.  Please bring a side-dish or dessert to share.  Meeting packets will be available beginning Sunday, February 12.  Pick up a packet in The Hub or stop by here again to download or view one.
