Welcome to Washington Heights Church, where our doors are open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey.

Alpha

This course is a 10-week practical introduction to following and understanding the story of Jesus. It gives you an opportunity to explore big life questions. Questions like: is there any point to life, and what happens when I die? Here, guests come together in a discussion based environment where they can addresses these questions as they gather together to share meals, hear talks and discuss their thoughts.

This course is for everyone. It explores spirituality and faith for individuals who are seeking to understand themselves and God.  For more information, please contact michel@washingtonheights.org

Equipping U Classes

Equipping U seeks to develop maturity in Christ and an understanding of Biblical Christianity.  It is a focused collection of classes which will provide a solid foundation for individual faith and developing a Biblical worldview.  These classes are taught in a sequenced two year period of time.  However, a person can begin at any point and not be lost.

Equipping U is not just about head knowledge, but about putting feet to your faith and heart to your action.  It’s about developing a Biblical worldview that is not limited to knowledge and understanding, but is followed through love and everyday life application.  If it is your desire to grow and learn more about the Biblical faith, then Equipping U is the right place to begin. The format is a live presentation in lecture form, with some discussion and Q & A, on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.  For more information, please contact michel@washingtonheights.org
