In 2005, a focus group (called Vision Group) entertained the possibilities for further ministry impact.

In 2006, a group was formed to take the lead in assessing our needs and making a recommendation to the church family about our opportunities to move forward as a church.  This group (called The Building Task Force) presented a three-pronged recommendation in April of 2007:

  1. Make renovations/additions to our current site;
  2. Establish the Latino Ministry in the heart of the Latino community; and
  3. Become a multi-site church (one church meeting in more than one location)

All three of these recommendations still stand and are being pursued.  Our journey to build and to renovate is largely the expression of the first point above.  We are not ready to take the others steps at this time, but we will continue to seek God’s leading and timing in those directions.
