Reaching New Heights
“And may you have the power to understand…how wide, how long, how high, and how deep (God’s) love is.” Ephesians 3:18 NLT
This is going to be a landmark year for our church family. After many years of praying, planning and waiting, we are about to take our next step in expanding our ministry. God has led Washington Heights from its inception to present day and He is still at work.
We are planning construction and renovations that will help facilitate increased ministry to the community and our world in so many ways. We will further create ministry environments that will help us who are here – and those who are not here – to live our purpose: experiencing together God’s grace and transforming power…one life at a time.
To accomplish that purpose, we value the following pursuits as a definition of who we are:
- Loving God – We seek to nurture a growing relationship with God corporately, in groups and personally.
- Loving People – We seek to enter into transformational relationships with one another.
- Serving the World - We seek to extend a hand in Jesus name and serve our church, our community and beyond.
- Invite a Friend – We seek to build relational bridges to our neighbors so that we can share God’s Good News.
This upcoming journey to discover what God has for us will allow us to live out our purpose and express our values more than ever.
