Looking for Service Times, Directions, Site Map?

Welcome to Washington Heights Church, where our doors are open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey.

If you’re new to Washington Heights or are considering joining us for a service, we hope you’ll find a place where you are warmly welcomed and feel at home, even if you’ve never been to church before. At our services, we present the ageless truths of the Bible in a compelling, easy-to-understand format.
Next steps beyond our services for those who are new to the church or faith are:

Getting Started

Getting Started is a once a month opportunity for newcomers to learn about the DNA of Washington Heights in a smaller, more intimate setting.  In this close-knit environment people can comfortably ask questions and discover our core values.  Through a personal approach, people can find their next step to getting connected and explore various opportunities that are available.  We love to meet guests, and we want to facilitate your journey with God and with us!

Alpha

Explore Jesus is another name for the Alpha Course.  This is a 10-week practical introduction to following and understanding the story of Jesus. It gives people an opportunity to explore big life questions, like: is there any point to life, and what happens when I die? It explores spirituality and faith for individuals who are seeking to understand themselves and God. Alpha guests come together in a discussion based environment where they can address these questions as they gather together to share meals, hear talks and discuss their thoughts. The Alpha Course is for everyone.

Fresh Start

Using the Bible as the standard for doctrinal truth, this 19-week study examines basic teachings of historic Christianity and helps develop an understanding of how these truths affect our lives. The distinct differences between these teachings and other religions are explored in an open and respectful atmosphere.  Fresh Start is designed for people who may come from various backgrounds or who are new to Utah’s culture, but is open to all. The format is upfront teaching with some Q&A.   This class meets on Wednesdays in Room 600 from 6:30-8 pm. Childcare for children under 5 is available with a reservation only. Children are encouraged to attend our AWANA program (registration required). All are welcome to join this learning community and to make a Fresh Start.
